Photo editing

Final photo shoot

Today I conducted my final photo shoot with my model Will. I decided that I wanted my shoot to be somewhere dark and urban. Will suggested a tunnel which I wasn't sure about at first but once we got there I thought it was perfect. It had graffiti on the brick walls which was lucky as that's the look I wanted for my magazine. I asked Will to do some different poses to ensure that I got a variety of images for my magazine. I took about 20 different images in my shoot which was just right. So I have taken a few images that I like most and think could well within my magazine and edited them. I have used an online photo editor called www.befunky.com, to edit my images.

Front cover- I may remove the background on this image and just have the model but I am unsure yet. I need to try them both with the rest of the components on my front cover.

Original image

Edit 1 - I used a Vintage effect on this image. I think it removes the sharpness from the original image and makes the model look better.

Edit 2 - I adjusted the colour, light and saturation on this image which makes its look more blue than the original.

Double page spread -  I really like this image I think it suits the identity in my magazine. The lighting in this image is perfect, it is dark yet a burst of light surrounds the model.

Edit 1 - I have decreased the light and saturation in this image. This makes the model stands out from the dark tunnel and draws attention to him.

Edit 2 - I have used the same vintage effect I used on the image for my front cover. I did this  I want my images to fit together and not be completely different all the way through my magazine.
